Default Need Information

If anyone can help me I'd appreciate anything anyone can tell me.
I have a friend who just moved into a older home, and was going thru the
basement and found a $500, $5000 and $10,000 bill, one of each dating
from I believe 1936 or 1946
They seem to be authentic and Im curious to how much they might be worth
if anyone knows.
Email me at or post here any information that you
might have.
Thank you

That should help pay off the mortgage if they are in fact real.

Condition is very important for value, so make sure your friend immediately
places these in Mylar currency sleeves and touches them as little as
possible.

They are definitely worth at least face value, plus a premium depending upon
condition, date/signature varieties, etc. Best bet is to take them to a
local coin/currency dealer for an appraisal in person.

If you can post scans of the notes on the web (not in this group), that
would help in identifying and grading, which is necessary to determine
value.
