you should give those Beatles 8's a rip on Ebay, they'd sell
problem with Beatles is, I find it hard to listen to one of their vintage LP's all the way through they really weren't all that good, just revolutionary for their time wrote in message ps.com... something new hard day's night hey jude meet the beatles help magical mystery tour yellow submarine rubber soul sgt. pepper's yesterday and today beatles '65 something new for $2 a piece. i've rarely seen rock 8-tracks in this condition. plus $5 postage in north america. Perish the thought! Explain to the nice man why it is that you've had THREE eBay accounts BANNED...28 Google Groups accounts BANNED...two AIOE NNTP accounts BANNED...membership in rec.guns BANNED...membership in 8TrackHeaven BANNED, numerous times. I'm sure we'd all get a chuckle at your delusional defensive explanations. It's never your fault, is it, Noodles? "That traffic cop gave me a ticket because he's got it in for me!" "It's not illegal to violate speed laws as long as you don't get caught." "It's OK to disconnect smog devices on cars because no one checks them for function in my state." "It's OK not to pay taxes on profits made by my eBay business." Those are all paraphrases of direct statements you've made on Usenet and elsewhere, Noodles. The list of illegal and delusional actions by you goes on and on, and is plastered all over the Internet for all to see, including Federal agents. Even your local police chief knows you've got some loose head bolts. http://nudowatch.blogspot.com What does Charlie III think when he "ego surfs" the Charlie Nudo name and sees all this? Have you ever considered that your childish and unintelligent actions carry a stiff price in the long run? Meanwhile, the fellow can do with his Beatles carts what he wishes...with the caveat that I surely wouldn't sell them to YOU, so you can "flip" them on fleaBay to bolster your sagging tax-evaded income. By the way...how're the tax audits (plural) going? Here's another free legal tip for ya, Noodles: purposely disconnecting, removing or disabling any Federally mandated pollution control device on any automobile is a Federal felony punishable by a $10,000 fine and/or 6 MONTHS in Federal prison FOR EACH INSTANCE. How would you explain your pollution belching automotive fleet to the EPA? Did you know that there is no "wiggle room" on Federal crimes insofar as sentencing goes? After paying all those back taxes, you won't have any cash at all with which to pay any EPA fines, and you'll have to do prison time. There ARE people doing prison time in the Federal system for just that crime, I found out...MANY of them. What would Charlie III think then? |

You probably thought that I was bluffing when I said that I was no longer doing business with you.Well Charlie,I really meant that.I would no longer do business with you even if you gave me something for nothing.Nor will I ever.I also deleted your Ebay name from my list of favorite sellers so I will NEVER get any news of anything new on Ebay from you. Again Charlie,we're through. |

The EMI releases from England usually came with a color picture sleeve and a B&W litho label. They're much higher quality audio-wise, due to being several generations closer to the original masters. The Capitol US releases (on LP, as well) were a few generations removed and had a lot of "sweetening" added. In good condition, the Cap releases do well enough on fleaBay, but the EMIs bring a premium, especially if the color sleeve is intact. DB I happen to have on EMI from England a few of those.I have George Harrison's Living In The Material World I also have A Collection Of Beatles Oldies and The Beatles Live At The Hollywood Bowl. Regarding the Capitol carts,a few of them had a bonus track to fill out a program. Two I know of,which I have, are Something New and Beatles '65.Something New had Thank You Girl on Program 3 as a bonus track while Beatles '65 had You Can't Do That on Program 4 as a bonus track. Not only that, both songs were the last songs on those respective programs. The songs mentioned were not even released on their vinyl counterparts of the same name. They both appeared on the US Capitol album The Beatles Second Album. Those songs were actually flipsides of singles.Thank You Girl was From Me To You's flipside respectively and You Can't Do That was Can't Buy Me Love's flipside respectively. From Me To You was not released on any album until 1973's The Beatles 1962-1966 compilation(a.k.a.The Red Album)that was released on Apple. In the USA,Vee-Jay,who initially released Beatles records after Capitol USA initially turned them down, initially issued the From Me To You/Thank You Girl single but it did not get very far.It stalled at #116 on the bubbling under Billbaord chart while Del Shannon's cover of From Me To You bettered it by reaching #77.Vee-Jay also did release Please,Please,Me/Ask Me Why and it did not reach anywhere on Billboard.Later, when Vee-Jay reissued it,it had From Me To You on the flipside and it reached #3.After that, thier first single,Love Me Do/ P.S.I Love You,was issued by Vee-Jay subsidiary label Tollie Records and it reached #1.Previously,it hit #17 initially in the U.K.in 1963 and on the 20th anniversary of the singles release in 1983,it was re- released in the U.K. and it reached #4. By the way,Capitol in Canada issued Beatles recordings in Canada during that time.I happen to have a Capitol Canada pressing of the Please,Please,Me/Ask Me Why single. Also,Capitol in Canada also left the first 2 Beatles U.K.albums intact with the exception of the titles. Please Please Me was Twist and Shout in Canada and With The Beatles was Beatlemania...With The Beatles in Canada. Forgive me for rambling. Each and every time somebody mentions The Beatles,I can not resist sharing what I know about them and their music.Thanks. I hope that all of you have a wonderful day.Sincerely Frank R.Schoonover |
