DeMayo) scribed upon its pages in : There are a number of citrus based products that would probablt do the trick. One that I have used before in similar circumstances is calle (don't laugh) "Goo Gone" I use Goo Gone to remove troublesome label adhesive from wine bottles. I HIGHLY recommend it. Thanks. I bought a bottle of Goo Gone and it worked perfectly! I then used

The best thing if you can get it (we chemists can) is hexane or petroleum ether aka ligroine. I would avoid odoriferous things like WD-40. |

We use a product called "Oops" to take glue off of slabs.
