Picked up some $2 bills
Went to a bank to get more $2 to put into circulation - $200 worth and
most have been pretty well circulated. Now and then I get a slew of nice crisp ones, all pot luck I guess. About 20% are series 1976. Nothing special - have one that says "To Nicholas, Love Aunt Andrea". Guess he didn't love her enough to keep it :0) I also have one Kansas City note that has a finer font (the zeroes are much more open). Rumor is that makes it worth 2 bucks LOL. |

One of the ones I got in a pile awhile back has a handwritten date of April 13th 1976, the date it was released into circulation. Someone must have kept it for awhile then decided to release it. |

Yes, more like they were keeping it as something special, then they died.
Some relative saw it was GREEN and spent it. "Sibirskmoneta" wrote in message ... wrote in message ups.com...
