Default WTF? eBay auction with entire ACG lawsuit filing included

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=190189730996

Not my auction (of course). It is for a PCI-graded Columbian Expo half
(MS66). Seller claims its been pulled by eBay multiple times - and
based on the content of this listing, I half expect it'll get pulled
again - though I see no obvious violations of the new slabbing rules.

After all his usual eBay stuff, he's added some legal data - included
what appears to be the complete filing by ACG against the ANA, RCC, et al.

I don't recognize the seller, though prior to last June, he went by the
username "wilsontb777" - which may or may not be his name.

Goofy. Anyone know what's up with this guy? His other auctions include
SGS and NNC slabs - but he's starting them at 99 cents with reasonable
shipping, so he's not a *complete* scam artist.

Wow.
Amazing that one's still up.

I love eBay's reply to his complaint:

"I understand that you are not satisfied with this matter.
At this time, I strongly recommend that you consider
consulting with an attorney. "

Such a friendly, helpful response.

"You don't like it? See you in court."

Anybody else spy a little monopolistic arrogance?

Somewhat but I suspect that is just their standard form letter type of
response they give everyone who they
think might want to sue them. Ebay is most likely facing hundreds of
lawsuits from a number of people over various issues at any one time
and probably has their own legal dept. to handle them (much like
Walmart does) they probably don't want to spend a lot of time replying
to any of them right at the start of a threatened legal action.

Undoubtedly any of eBay's canned responses have been vetted by their
legal department to ensure that they say as little as possible and
limit any tort exposure.

Wow, this is hillarious....I made the Google Search just by trying to
make a small point against the "new" Ebay/Stuppler "policy". My
feedback is almost 600. I'm a Gold Powerseller (over $10,000/month in
sales). I have sold almost exclusively PCGS graded coins up until
recently when I starting wishing that I'd sold the "other" ones a few
months ago. I took the listing down MYSELF; tired of the heartache.
I'm sure that once I get the Columbian graded by NGC; it'll go for at
least a Grand. I'll just join the existing lawsuit against Ebay, etc
here in Florida.
