Default HELP! Anyone in Georgia know who re-chromes??

Any of you guys live In Georgia, specifically in the Roswell,Alpharetta,
Woodstock,Marietta,Kennesaw area that can tell me where to go to get some
parts re-chromed?? Im having no luck at all finding anyone who can do this!
I do not want to have to ship this stuff! I found one place called Atlanta
Bumper on Powder Springs road and thats it! I dont know if anyone can vouch
for this place or not, but Id really like to find a few and see who has the
best price versus going to the first place I find.......Mickey

Because of EPA regulations, there are fewer and fewer plating companies all
the time.
Best place by far for Juke parts is Courtesy Plating in Chicago. You can
ship them the parts and get great, reasonable results, or you can find some
backyard place that does bad bumper chroming and end up with RUINED
parts!!!!

I'll second that about Courtesy Plating. Got all my stuff done for my W1100
by them and it looks like jewelry!

Victor Dorado w/Courtesy metals is familiar with juke metal and has a good
reputation. You will incur one way shipping fees and usually around a month
or so turnaround time. A local plating source can be valuable resource but
if you are only doing one juke for yourself, it may not be worth the search
(or the risk of damaged parts)

In Dallas, there are several platers in the Yellow Pages but found that most
dont want to handle pot metal work

Good luck
