Thompson, Paul, Giuliani...all done.
Although he BARELY beat Ron Paul, Rudy Giuliani's poor 9% showing in
the NH GOP primary spells big trouble for him...a New England state a stone's throw from New York, and he couldn't even get past single digits. Thompson? 1%...GONE. The ronbots? 8%...better than Thompson, but still gone. Giuliani's "wait until late" strategy counted on him carrying states in the northeast where he had instant name cognition, but that's part of his problem...people DO remember Rootie Tootie, and they do not like him...at all. The Wall Streeters and bank creeps are split between Giuliani and Romney, further diluting the voting power of the "economic conservative" bloc that was supposed to propel them into power. McCain has also made significant inroads into that bloc, and has proven to be the independents' favorite. Say bye bye, Rootie Tootie...say bye bye, "Bad Actor" Fred...and you too, Mrs. Paul's old man! Now, with the field into somewhat clearer focus and the distractions being peeled away, it's down to McCan versus Romney, and for now, it appears it's McCain running away. What a comeback he's had...but nothing anywhere near that done by Hillary Clinton, who Zogby was saying was "finished" by tonight. Zogby's polling results were leaders in the "spin" to make George W. Bush look good after the Iraq mess started going to crap, along with Fox News. I give Zogby and Fox's results a 40% weighting when I average polling numbers, although Fox's results have improved to be more in line with other, more credible pollsters, probably because Fox is starting to cave in the Neilsen ratings against CNN and a resurgent MSNBC. |

Problem is, 9 out of 10 people don't even know who Ron Paul is. Once they get to know him, things will change - bigly. BAM |

Remember, once Rootie Tootie does that, all the crap about his bad treatment of the 9/11 emergency workers and the layoffs in FDNY will come to fore and sink him like cement chooz in the East River...where he belongs. |
