Default Anyone Know Who buys commons?

I have a ton of stuff to go through but within the next month I will have a
bunch of commons to sell off. Is there anyplace on the net to sell them
that offers a good payout?
Thanks

Unfortunately I have to agree with you. I had the better part of 100,000
commons of all sports up until a few years ago. I was able to sell about
10,000 of them locally by advertising in a free paper for about $30 for a
5000 card box, but that was it. It was worth a try. The rest I dumped off
at the local recycling bins. I guess it was worth it in a way imagining
what the employees must have thought when they came across 90,000 cards in
the bin all neatly stacked in boxes!

I guess ultimately destroying some cards might make them more valuable or
worthwhile to future collectors.

Even so, I cannot help but wonder out loud if the vast majority of cards
(including star players) produced since 1990 will ever have much of a market
in the forseeable future.
