because they are much rarer and people want 'new stuff' in quad".
Remember his fake "The Wall"? Most likely the rear channels were the

I'd wager the record cos. would prosecute DTS dubs a LOT quicker, than
analog 8 dubs.

8's are an obsolete format, the fall under the "fair use" and "home
recording act" consumer protection laws.
