Reid, I know we all have limited amounts of time, so I suspect that you
simply missed this earlier, so I will *bump* it forward to your
attention again.

Did you get the permission from the people whose opinions, factoids and
assertions you used in the written piece before asserting that you owned
them as your own intellectual property?

You're not this stupid. What you're doing is being characteristically
disingenuous. I know it, you know it, others know it. No, I didn't
miss your earlier post about this. I ignored it. You know the
differences between an article, an anthology, and a synopsis. If you
were a high school drop out, I'd believe that you were unclear on
this. But I don't need to explain this to you. And I've already
explained here, several times, in detail, the differences between
research and plagiarism and copyright infringement as well as the
legalities and journalistic conventions regarding research. Bye.

How about the difference between a weasel and a rat? For the time being I'll
have to assume there is little difference in Rydal, PA..

Well, I am disappointed, but not surprised. You did not answer my honestly
proffered question. You defined your Periodic Post as a 'distillation',
does that make it a synopsis, an anthology or an article?

Why are you so loth to identify and thank your contributors and sources, yet
so eager to declare ownership of the piece as your intellectual property?
I'm truly interested in hearing your thought process explained on this. I
wish you'd share it with me.

Hah! You're as honest as a counterfeit coin. Bye. Wait! I already said
goodbye. Well, let me double it then. Bye-bye. g

"distillation. n
The extraction of the volatile components of a mixture... "

Hmmm.
Given recent events, this could be a sensible approach.

Well, I guess you have no wish to discuss the topic or answer the question.
I'll draw my own conclusions then.
