Seems I may, in turn offer assistance to the webmaster
he has no sample of the Prudential Assurance overprint,
which my phossick box has serendipitiously turned up

Groan!, of course, with 1902 above.
I had dismissed the year, thinking using up old stock
from "The man from Prudential"
Thanks for the correction.

The webmaster emailed me, the "Commercial overprints" site is not being
maintained at the moment, due to time constraints, and he is "blogging"
Another collector from Canada, I am beginning to think cold weather promotes
Philately
