OK, now another question: since this has 2 mono players, why a stereo amp with 2 external speakers out and 2 sets of stereo/mono sws.(one on the pre-amp and one the power amp? makes no sense to me? Rick.

Don't know the reason other than you could run the machine with two
separate areas and adjust each volume independently.

Or perhaps stereo heads were an option?? I should dig out the parts
catalogue and see if the C110 is covered...

Well, this c110 now plays as it should (almost) after the new belts (thanks John), some lube and a little coaxing . The heads are mirror like and the pinch roller was still black, no brown tape line on it, just a little old dirt on the capstans (now clean). I don't think this was ever used. Everything inside was very clean (save for some dust). This was bought new in the crate in '72 and put into a house, never on location!
The one small problem I have is with deck (side)2 player. at the end of the tape (after fwd), the motor does not stop and eject the tape (most of the time), I have to cancel it to complete the cycle. Tape (side 1) is fine. The manual does not seem to cover this problem. Any ideas how to correct this (make it more sensitive)? All else works as it should after 45 years sitting unused? Thank you, Rick

That sounds like a problem in the end of tape detection. It has been
many years since I last worked on one of these, but cleaning all
electrical contacts can only help fix this sort of thing. Also look for
connectors where the plastic is failing and so there many be loose
connections.

Player 2 seems ok, it depends on the tape if it will eject at the end. Player 1 must be more sensitive for this function.

John, you maybe right about duel zones (both in mono). The remote that came with my c110 is as follows: knob for ch 1, knob for ch 2, cancel button, and a 2 position slide sw that reads: up for stereo using the ch 1 knob for both chs or down using both knobs for independent ch control. Ch 2 knob has been glued with some kind of lock tight stuff so it can't be easily turned, so as not to use it. Rick.

Hi all! I have a Wurlitzer C-110 cassette jukebox, it was working, I pressed the cancel button, it did not reject the cassette and started to buzz....blew fuse for the carousel, and everything on the service panel. With my text circuit breaker, it just pops that too. Anyone work on these amps?

Paul
