Can't have every cool bass on the planet, though, and
having the sounds of, say, a Rickenbacker 4005 hollowbody or a Vox Phantom at the touch of a switch might be pretty neat. --Bob Farace That's what intrigues me, too. I would be surprised if 4005 or Phantom models made the cut. I believe there's going to be 24 models, including ABG and double bass. I'm sure there will be jazz, precision, 4001, and 8-string models, too. If I find out more I'll follow up. btw, that is one neat part to listening to 8-tracks--the analog sound of real instruments played by real people playing rock'n'roll. later, ron |

That's what intrigues me, too. I would be surprised if 4005 or Phantom
models made the cut. As I understand it, even if it's not one of the factory-supplied programs, there are people out there making custom programs to cover the missing instruments. I've got some fairly odd basses that I wouldn't expect to turn up (things like an Ampeg AUB-1, Ampeg Little Stud with the frets ripped out, Ampeg/Burns Vista Sonic bass, etc.) but you never know. --Bob Farace "I only believe in fire." --Anais Nin |
