A nice find
About a year ago I asked on this group whether Pilate had been depicted on
stamps. At that time I had a lot of answers, and tonight I made an interesting find. Among my thousands of covers I found one, sent from Russia to Denmark on 10th October 2000, franked with a Russian Pilate-stamp. http://shoebox.heindorffhus.dk/easte...ilateCover.jpg The other stamp on the cover is from the same series of five stamps.
