Simple enough: post something, anything really, after which all the losers
and usenet busybodies will forestall their interminable discussions about
ebay marketing practices and transexualism to scream at you about how your
post's off topic and then before they report you to your ISP for daring to
post in a newsgroup they read they'll tell you you should have read the
charter and FAQ which you can find by googling it who do you think they are
your servants?

Though I'm not sure if Mike needs to update it or not.

It would be nice if there were just a link on the "home" page, wouldn't
it?

Sorry, I forget that not everyone comes to this forum the same way.
When I want to read RCB, I open a Google Groups page (from my
favorites). It shows the most recent threads, links to other Google
groups, etc. I then click on what interests me. My suggestion was that
there also be a link there to the Charter and FAQ--it couldn't be
*that* difficult, if Google cared enough to do it.
