Default Huge lot of baseball cards

I periodically list this lot as it may eventually interest someone. The lot
consists of significantly more than 150,000 cards. The cards range from the
early 80s to current releases. There are approximately 10-12k of the dead
years, meaning 88-92, especially Topps 89 and Donruss 90. There are also a
couple of thousand cards from '87, both Topps and Donruss. After that, the
lot becomes a whole lot more interesting. There are dozens upon dozens of
partially complete sets from Fleer, UpperDeck, Score, Pinnacle, Pacific,
Topps, Bowman, Donruss, just about any brand nameable. There are thousands
of high-end base cards from Flair Showcase, SP, Finest, Gold Label, Leaf
Certified, Best of Fan Club, Fleer Greats, Absolute Memorabilia, Aurora,
Crown Royal, Vanguard, Private Stock, Revolution, Ionix, Diamond Collection,
ProSigs, All-Star Classics, ESPN, PlayOff Honors, Black Diamond RE. There
are Topps 04, 05, 06, 07. There are hundreds upon hundreds of Ultra, Triple
Crown, MVP, Ultimate Victory, UD Vintage, Fleer Gold Backs, Omega, Fleer
Premium, Sports Illustrated, Studio, Stadium Club, UpperDeck 02, 03, 04, 05,
06, 07, UD Heroes, 40-Man. There are over 3000 Topps and Bowman Chrome
cards, all boxed separately. There are more than 15,000 SuperStar cards,
also boxed separately, including four shoe boxes with about 2,000 star cards
in penny sleeves and top-loaders. All of these cards are base cards of
Ripken, Griffey, McGwire, Bonds, ARod, Jeter, Ichiro, Pujols, Maddox,
Clemens, Thome, Piazza, Soriano, Cabrera, RJohnson, Palmeiro, FThomas,
CJones, Garciaparra, Glavine, Manny, Seaver, Ryan, Gwynn, Schmidt, Sandberg,
OSmith, Henderson, Mattingly. There are literally hundreds of each, many of
which book for $2-3 or more, especially the Ripken and Jeter cards. There
are about 25 plastic shells filled with stars, rookies, unlisted stars,
semi-stars, veterans, HOFers. There are hundreds of '99 UpperDeck PowerDeck
CDs, Pannini Stickers, Jumbo Cards-never opened. There are two never-opend
boxes of BookMarks, there are unopened O-Pee-Chee '93. There are boxes of
Yankees and Mets. There are photos and audio cards. The Beckett book value
of this lot is easily over $30k. I am asking 5% of that- $1500. The star
cards will bring twice that for a show dealer or in trades. The amount of
team cards and regional favorites will make up for the original investment.
None of the semi-stars or regional favorites have been culled from the lot.
There are hundreds of MRivera, AJones, Smoltz, Giambi, IRod, Sheffield,
Willis, Glaus, Berkman, Biggio, Bagwell, Wang, Matsui, Beltran, Tejada,
Texiera, Giles, Ordonez, Stewart, Wells, Nomo, Hoffman, CLee, Oswalt,
Sheets, BWilliams...whoever.

I essentially collect inserts, parallels, gold cards, serial #d, refractors,
autos, and certain stars. All the other stuff and the duplicates go into
boxes. I buy only sealed foil lots, open up the packs, take out what I want
and leave the rest- this lot is all the rest. A potential money maker for
the business minded individual who has the patience to go through it all,
clever enough to package it up into what sells, a has an outlet.

The lot is located on Long Island and is recommended for pick-up. Delivery
would be excessive with regard to cost.

I am willing to entertain any reasonable offer. Essentially what the deal
boils down to is ten cents apiece for the star cards and everything else is
a throw-in. I feel I know the hobby well enough, and realize that big
outfits offer about $8 per 5k count box, which would make this lot valued
(to them) at about $250. Sale of the star cards at just $0.20 a piece would
bring back 10X that amount.

Feel free to email me with questions.
