See text for rivals to the Australian claim for this..................... Gary, quite happy to relinquish ownership. It's a bit like cricket after all, perhaps we didn't invent it, just perfected it. "Ye olde Lamyngtone" I like that, same as "sponge" a good Aussie word for one who borrows constantly. Mind you, I've perhaps only tasted a "real good" lamington twice in my life, the rest Yeech! The rest (courtesy of Scout and Girl Guides drives) get relegated immediately to the bottom of the "Trifle" afters, liberally dunked in wine and drowned in custard.
