WOW the Mint!

Order for one US Mint silver proof set and one SAE proof placed the 10th of
May.
Packet was shipped yesterday the 16th of May.
UPS tracking site states "estimated delivery 19th of May"!!!

It seems that something is changing in the Mint!

they said they were shipped, and guess what? I received them today! Be

I must admit that some times the Mint is surprising us in a positive manner!
Two days difference for a shipment in US and another one in Europe is not
bad at all!

Lucky you. I ordered them the first minute of the first day they went on
sale and the Mint charged my plastic and they still say "in stock and
reserved." Today they charged my card for the Ben Franklin Coin and Krinkles
set, though, which says due to ship on May 22rd, 2006.

But meanwhile at the British Royal Mail...I am waiting for a package
that was mailed a month ago. And we complain about the USPS! Maybe it
is hung up at customs. Seller is being good though.

Hmm.. just checked again and now it's changed to "your order shipped on
05/17/2006. (By three-legged burro (who has arthritis (in all four legs)))..

Well, the Mint is also ... punctual!
19th they said and 19th it was!
Today the packet arrived as expected, US-Greece in just ... 3 days!
Well, for 20 dollars S&H;-)

Set looks great, coins are excellent, two more sets to go for the full
collection!
Except the 1999 set of course;-)

Nope, your not the only one.
After careful inspection of the "Nevada Quarter" I found a nick on one
of the horses.
I don't want to send it back because of the possibily that the US Mint
would sell out before my request is honored.
So...
I will live with the nick
