I have never been a fan of the 'iodine pen' test for USA banknotes, it is too
easy to defeat (both with false positives and false negatives) and promotes a
dangerous form of laziness among cashiers, as they don't even look at their
cash when they use them, other than to see what numbers are in the corners.

In my view, there is NO difference. I'm just glad (and amazed) someone
is still willing to take this trash in trade for the goods I need. but
I think it's a hoot that the Fed wasted so much on foolproofing its
currency, that every cashier in Amerika has to mar the results to
authenticate it.

Hell, most vending machines still reject the colorized bills, and it's
no wonder when they detect a counterfeit bill! They have an awful
stench about them too ... must be that weird bio ink interacting with
those metal strips, eh?

Remember when fresh paper money had a rich leather-like feel and aroma
to it?

Those days are gone ...just as sure as there's an agenda to eliminate
currency.

Now it all starts to make some cents.
