After all, if he destroys a huge collection, will that not perhaps increase
the value of those items remaining in existence? So indirectly, he benefits
those collectors remaining?
By the way, I notice that not one reputable buyer or dealer has been

mentioned
by collectors. Is that because there is no longer such a reputable dealer

left
in existence?

I find it interesting to watch one's own feelings
when reading posts like this.
It's amazing to almost see traditional responses
arising from within, at this poor individual's orchestrations.

Notice how many question marks he uses?
He needs others to feel badly, and respond, which must in
some way make him/her feel better.

The traditional advice is correct,
If we all just ignore his posts, he will go (finally)
somewhere else to get satisfaction.

Sir Rodney; I have not read any of the previous posts under this
subject, I can pretty well judge what they will be.
The way I see it is that if the "collection" belongs to him he can do
what ever he feels like with it, even shove it up his behind. Maybe
that would put an end to his dilemma.

A very Naval response there, Ralphael, but not without merit

But still not one reputable dealer/buyer is mentioned by you,
or any other collector!!

I work with a "reputable" dealer but would be put off to share that
info with you.

Reason?

Your 'tude sux. Come here and blame everyone for your woes and don't
seem to do anything about it.

Further, selling stamps at exorbitant prices is unrealistic.

Finally, get off the pity pot. The place is starting to stink and we
think we know the cause.

Rough?

Yes... We've heard much whining on this topic. May we offer some
cheese with that whine?

Any "intelligent" collector will know after a certain point that they
will NEVER truly get what they paid for their collection, unless they
find an oddball item or 2 for a world cruise.

Answer?

Stop using nyms, take the appropriate meds and find your best offer
for your stuff before you "burn" the last working brain cell in your
head.

'Nuff Said.

Reputable as in buying at reasonable market, or foolish as in buying at your
percieved 'value'?

Has the OP mentioned even one stamp from his collection that is worth
anything. A description would do for a start, a scan of something
would be better (but no binaries in this newsgroup, please).

No, he / she / it hasn't. I'm not sure I want to see the damaged
stamps he proffers...
