Norfolk Island Moths and Butterflies.

The 4c would possibly be the best known to most Australians
we know it as "The Painted Lady", I have not seen any in Western Australia
but numerous examples in South Australia.

They migrate South in Spring from North Queensland and NSW
and in 1889, numbers were so vast, that trains failed to generate traction,
due to
the numbers of butterflies resting on the rails.

Cynthia Kershawi is the sub genus of Vanessa Kershawi

Well I found some, in Perth, for you Rodney.
These painted ladies were found near the waterfront.

Very nice Blair,
have not seen that before.
The lass with the prism and fractured light indicates Pink Floyd's
"Dark side of the Moon" my favourite album of all time,
and possibly the most popular of all time voted by rolling stone magazine?

....but you knew that right?
