Why do the ebay moderator pull posts and give suspensons to people that post
anything negative about how ebay rules effect sellers? I sell coins which
some have low margin. OK if you can say check or international MO on
certain items, but no to have to pay ebay fees and paypal fees together it
no longer profitable mutually to transact. These sales will simply disappear
from ebay. But mention this on ebay forums and the moderators delete
messages. I did nothing to viloate the rules. Then I get a 7 day
suspension for bringing up the matter again. How do ebay know the
unhappiness of sellers if the complaints are never allowed to be seen or
discussed?

Hey dip****, set your opening price high enough to cover your costs.
You don't have to be an MBA to figure that out.

The same reason a Governor can fire someone for personal reasons, because
they can.

Ebay doesn't censor posts. They just hire a contractor (LiveWorld,
formerly bankrupt TalkCity) to do so.

You are ebay's guest. Why should they allow you to misbehave on their dime?

For the same reasons that many enlightened vendors allow negative
comments on their sites. Credibility, getting an accurate read on
what their customers (and enemies) are saying, letting their customers
see firsthand and uncensored what corporate has to say in response,
and garnering support from customers who disagree with or can refute
or resolve the complaints.

Obviously, e-Bay isn't interested in any of those benefits.

About 98% of eBay's revenue comes from listing fees (including
enhancements) , final value fees, and paypal fees...all paid for by
the sellers. Yet eBay treats its sellers like garbage, and
complaints are responded to with censorship and suspensions rather
than as opportunities to receive constructive input from its
customers.
