FA: 2-Days, WWI U.S. Army Wool Blanket, No Holes, Exc.
WWI U.S. Army Wool Blanket, No Holes, Exc.
2-Days Left on Ebay............ This WWI U.S. Army Blanket is in excellent condition. It is mustard/grey-color "herring-bone" wool with two (1" wide) orange stripes on each side. The blanket measures 63" x 81". There is no fraying and no holes. There are also no stains or any other defects. The owner of the estate where this came from stated that this blanket was a French made blanket that their grandfather used in WWI during the campaign in Alsace-Lorraine. I cannot confirm this, but there may be some truth because most U.S. WWI blankets were grey in color rather than the mustard/grey color of this one. This is definitely a WWI blanket, however. This would add nicely to any WWI display. To see pictures, please view at: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI...tem=2184842823 |
