Number of Sets You are Working on? Lack of Focus?
A very good question...
1) BU Washington Quarters, P mint 1950-64 2) Nazi German coins, all Berlin mint issues in AU or higher 1933-45 3) Charles II British Sixpences 1674-84, by date, including all types. 4) William and Mary British sixpences 1693-4, (complete). 5) Henry VI (Annulet issue 1422-27) type set, noble to farthing. 6) British decimal bronze coins, BU 1971-84 7) George II British Sixpences 1728-1758 by date. 8) Early Milled British sixpence type set 1674-1787. Really i just want a full collection of sixpences by date from 1674-1787. I'm breaking it up to make it look more managable. God i love sixpences. Sylvester. |

I have a question for you that I have posted here in the past with no satisfactory answer to date. It has to do with the silver sixpences, shillings, and halfcrowns of the late 1600s and early 1700s. Some of them have roses, some have plumes, some have roses and plumes, some are plain. What's the significance of these motifs? James |

Myself, I'm working toward a complete set of US 1913 Liberty Nickels by provenance. So far I have the provenance part researched, but none of the nickels. Maybe a "Wanted to Buy" ad in CW or NN will do the trick. I'm also trying to complete a Lincoln Cent Memorial Reverse set in XF or better, but there are a few toughies in there.
