on the net or anywhere that i can look up the titles and any value?

You're getting ahead of yourself. You can't find the "value" (comparative
selling price) of your books, until you know the proper terminology and
how to grade them.

I've sold antiques, glassware, pottery and books for 16 years. Books
were *the* hardest thing to learn about....and I'm not finished.

You will get better guidance from the largest printed
catalogue on which you can lay hands. Book sale
catalogues are written in special jargon that both
buyers and sellers need to know.
