7/6 KC & the Sunshine Band

nice report. Especially since that bad elevator encounter. Just
shows how they put on a face when a crowd is there and act differently
when one or two are there.

The "house" was packed and people were dancing in the small space between
the seats and the stage. at 1 point KC accounced that he would be at the
merchandise booth for signing. There was a huge line for autographs. We
hung around at the side of the booth & got 1 of the daily fair bulletins
signed. (The fair bulletin had a description of the band on the front.)
KC was the only 1 signing; would like to have gotten others... keyboards
(2), guitars, drummers (2), dancers, etc.; big band.

I know... this is another one of those has-been groups. But they do have a
lot of fans out in the real world... ..lots of baby boomers still ready to
dance in the aisles. This is a great diversity group... various
ethnicities, ages, etc.
