I remember in one of Frank S. Robinson's auctions, he described one
lot of Roman bronze coins as "vomitous putrescent condition." I
really hope the buyer didn't complain about overgrading on that lot...

Nope, not really below poor, just a poor old beat up pocket piece,
once carried by someone who was once alive and kicking and may still
be and wondering where his/her pocket piece went.
But, I do believe I wrote it up pretty honestly....

passed my 'Buy' price for that piece in that condition. ;-)

That, in fact is in GOOD condition, the date and all the lettering is visible.
Poor condition coins wouldn't have lettering and only just a shadow of silluete
of 'ol chris on it.
