Q- How to sell a large volume of stamps
My Grandfather recently passed away and when he was a younger man, he
was an avid collector of stamps. Going through his estate, we found 4 boxes of stamps and documentation stating that there are probably around 50,000 stamps that at one point he had insured for $120,000. Does anyone have any ideas how I should handle these? We are interested in selling them and we don't need to get top dollar but we don't want to be shafted either. Are there any reputable dealers that will go through these (obviously for a fee or a discount in the selling price)? Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks |
