Can anyone tell me about the sound quality, complexity of repair and

I restored one for my ex-wife back in 2003. VERY easy to work on, IMO. I
think it also helped that I had restored my 454 a couple years earlier. Sound quality is pretty good, but I did prefer the sound of my 454 over the 444. Better placement of speakers or something just made it sound richer and fuller. Overall, I think it's a pretty nice box and not hard at all to work on. Bill wrote in message ...
