Default Help with NSM Hit 120 Jukebox

Does anyone here have any knowledge of jukeboxes? I picked up a 1977 NSM Hit 120 Jukebox and it will not select a record. The carriage just moves back and forth and will not select record. Also when I put in the number to select the record (the numbers are 10-69 A and B) it shows up on the screen 70 A and the carriage just moves back and forth. Any Help!?

I have copies of the troubleshooting guide for sale...

Its been a while since I last worked on one of these, but the first
suspect is the Tormat memory system - check the voltages on the control
center test strip to see if they are corrrect.

Default Help with NSM Hit 120 Jukebox

Hello, I recently purchased a NSM Hit 120 that is doing the exact thing you mention. Did you ever get a fix for it? What was the issue?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Hi
If its a digital system, check out the opto unit on the carriage, may need to be cleaned or replaced you should see the numbers counting up and down as the carriage scans, also check the connection points at carriage, the control centre and credit unit if its the pre-digital get back to me
