Default rockola legend 7000 cd pro 2 problem

hi, I have no sound (for the most part) from the CD player (it sometimes works). This is the second rebuilt player in this box, both have the same problem. While it is not working, I played my portable cd player thru the amp cd input and got sound. I also took the out put from the juke cd player to me home stereo, no sound. The rebuilder states that both players played fine at his place. I don't have another juke to test this player in. Any suggestions? Seems to me that this player is also bad (rockola seems to agree). I know my amp is good, and I believe the computer only controls the player operation, but not the sound. Thanks, Rick

You can take the audio output of the CD player directly from the CD-Pro
- download the installation manual (search, eh?) and you will find the
points where the audio is connected. If the player appears to be
working, that is the CD is loaded, spins up, and 'plays' for the rough
time the song would last - then it may be the audio connections that are
the problem and not the player.

You can make a simple audio tracer using some powered PC speakers and
ideas from this page:
