Default master remote volum control question

i have a complete seeburg remote volume control type mrvc-1 looks like usa one but says R C Gilchrist LCD Toronto Ont exclusive canadian distributors the volume pot is different but wires same anyone seen one of these,any information on this item looks just like chicago version but volume control and reject buttons are reversed

Back in the day (40s and early 50s) here in Canada the really big
jukebox distributors would assemble the machines locally to get around
import tariffs. The other big name was Siegel (sp?) Distributing in
Toronto and Montreal.

Same sort of idea as Volvo did with their assembly plant in New Brunswick.

And I guess IKEA does with their 'furniture'.

the usa volume control pot is 6 lugs double stack,the canada one i have is single stack but 5 lugs 3 in front 2 in rear

It would appear then that the Loudness was handled differently between
the US and Canadian versions. I don't think I have the Canadian
schematic, but the two taps are for loudness components (as is the
second stack pot) and should be consistent with later volume controls.

Not a lot of help I'm afraid, you need to look at other audio schematics
to find (if missing) what the parts should be. Usually a resistor and
cap in parallel or series as I recall.

sounds right,one i have number 305293-2 pot has wires that have been cut off on the 3 lugs is shield, wire center is black then green, the end with 2 lugs red on 1 nothing on other.plug has short wires also number 1 is black number 2 is red, 3 4 and 5 nothing number 6 is shield number 7 is green i bought an after market 1 am planning on using if cant find schmatic for canadian one
