What I need is an opinion or fact based on the better of SHFA1 & SHFA2
Seeburg amps and what are the differences if any and can one be subbed for
the other.

Default AMP Question

Tony Miller's Seeburg amplifier book goes into the details of these
amplifiers and differences. Also gives great information on repairing
them.

Better to keep the correct series amp with the correct jukebox than to
try and squeeze a tiny amount of sound quality out by the small
differences between the consecutive numbers. The jukebox as a whole is
more valuable if it has the original amp, control center etc. than if
you upgrade it. Also future techs won't have to have several models
manuals on hand to try and fix the machine...

If you want really better sound then simply bypass the amp and use
something modern as the output stage (a tap at the volume control inputs
gives you original muting and squelch) ...keeping the original amp for
the value.
