Eagle Cent
A friend would like to know the value of an 1857 US eagle cent. It is in
poor condition, quite dark, and I was unable to scan it. A range of values would be appreciated. No grades, please, as they are meaningless to me. I paid $15 for it about five years ago. The PCGS Price Guide lists them as worth $26 in G-4. Completed ebay auctions show low grade, damaged and cleaned FEs abound and worth about $3.
