These were issued in 1950 and are part of a set 8 values - 1/2p, 1p,
2p, 3p, 4p, 6p, 9p, and 12p overprinted in black, plus 3 values
overprinted in red - 1/2p, 1p, and 2p. The only catalogue I have
listing them is a 1962 Sanabria "The World Airmail Catalogue". The 3p
is valued at 15 cents m or u; the 12p at 70 cents mint or used.

Gerald Rosen's "Catalogue of British Local Stamps", 1975 edition, says
£4.00 for the whole set, mint or used.

By way of comparison, he has the 1953 Coronation set at £1.45. Someone
currently has this set on Delcampe and says its CV is $7, but is
asking $2.50.

the sheet was issued with this caveat
