Default Little help here

I just got my first 1953 Topps card. Its Bob Feller. Only problem is that it
won't fit in the penny sleeve I have. Is that common? Was the 1953 set slightly
bigger? I have other vintage cards, but non from 53', that fit in the same size
sleeve no problem.

Yes, Topps cards from 1952-1956 are slightly bigger (2-5/8" x 3-3/4").
