Default This spring USPS lost $2 billion

The U.S. Postal Service lost $2 billion this spring despite increasing its
volume and charging consumers more money to send mail, officials said
Monday.

The Postal Service has defaulted before on federally mandated annual
payments to cover expected health care costs for future retirees.

First-Class mail volume declined by 1.4 percent, but revenue climbed 3.2
percent because of price increases.

Operating expenses increased by $1.5 billion to $18.4 billion.

Ayuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup !!!

They keep mailing multipage catalogues to people who have repeatedly
told them they don't want the JUNK!

They have thieves in known locations, pay out 'insurance' and still
don't get rid of them.

You'd best NOT send anything REGISTERED - 40% probablility it will be
'lost' [read STOLEN!] They don't track Foreign REGISTERED despite the
[presence of proper bar codes!!!

Now they're reducing hours to those -=convenient=- to their thoughts.

Pretty soon, if they have their way rural residents will NOT have mail
service except by postal boxes, driving tens of miles to get packages
or other 'conditional' mail.

All this while keeping OPEN facilities duplicating other facilities
within 5 miles - but then there's a 'polly titian' nearby.

OH YEAH ... even Congress admits that they USPS has -=overpaid=- upon
the retirement and health care PRE-Funding, but the give away Dumbos
need the funds for O'******* Kare, so it will be 'required' to
continue!
