Either way, it's a small amount. However, as many people as have reported errors in the 2005 edition it's not a year I'd want to buy an expensive collectors edition of. Unless, of course, I was an error collector. Randy -- Thanks for pointing out the typo. I had our website developer fix it just before he picked up his pink slip (just kidding, of course). Yep...the red book certainly has it's share of errors and varieties. Nonetheless, those who collect them are still buying them even with the shortcomings. --Andrew Shop With Us Online and Save: Brent-Krueger Coin and Currency www.brent-krueger.com/?source=rcc Your Coin and Currency Supply Super Store! Visit Our Dealer Showroom and Retail Outlet 186 Scotch Rd., Ewing NJ Biggest error in the Red Book is the changed mintages for ALL proof cents, nickels, dimes, quarters and half dollars minted from 1909 thru 1916. Look at the 2004 Red Book and then look at the 2005 Red Book. One exception is the 1909 thru 1911 Lincoln cent numbers which were changed for the 1998 Red Book. This is a crime that I am trying to get fixed. Steve |
