Sports guys free signing in Hampton roads

Last year was my first year... I got 8 signatures I think including
Fergie Jenkins, Debbie Dunning, Kevin Greene etc. This year, they are
doing it again, only this time, it's only 5 of them and one is Roger
Brown who was there last year. He's so nice though and I believe he
owns a restaurant here. I want to go to it, but honestly, I am not
quite sure where it is and it's a good drive from Hampton. Anyway,
the five who are there a

Roger Brown (Detroit Lions)
LC Greenwood (Pittsburg Steelers)
Lee Smith (St Louis Cardinals)
Luis Tiant (Red Sox) - happy about this one; he's from the era I enjoy
Everson Walls (Dallas Cowboys)

I do believe though, you will have to have a military ID card to get
in. HOWEVER, if you are in this area, you may try to contact Pass and
ID and see if you can get on base for it. Call the rec center ahead
of time. It's on the Naval Station Norfolk parade grounds June 12th
11:30-2:30. They will be giving out free hot dogs, soda and giveaways
(small stuff like frisbees, cups and such stuff) but they'll be having
prizes too... I'll be there... so if you are going, email me.

LC Greenwood's autograph is all together, very ugly signature and doesn't
believe in penmanship. Roger Brown, opposite-every single letter. His
restaurant is Roger Brown's in downtown P-town. He even helps the waiters
serve the food! And great food-too.

Unfortunate during working hours, and would love a Luis Tiant photo op! One
of my favorite pitchers during the 70's pre-free agent era...
