Sheaffer Skrip Kings Gold

I saw some odd Sheaffer Skrip today in an unfamiliar bottle. Is this the
older "German" Skrip, rather than the modern "Slovenian" Skrip?

The one I'm familiar with (Slovenian?) is a conical glass bottle with a
small cap, packaged in a clear plastic box. This one had a larger cap
and was in a dark red card box.

AIUI, "Kings Gold" used to be a useful gold colour, but is now a pale
yellow and often described as a bit insipid. If this is some old stock
that's shown up, maybe I should get some? Does anyone recognise the
packaging?

If the price is good, get em. Rare, good condition ink bottles are hard to
come by.

If you really get some Sheaffer Skrip King's Gold, please buy some
Private Reserve Shoreline Gold, too and compare them for us. I have
heard that Private Reserve Shoreline Gold is a good substitute for that
discontinued Sheaffer Skrip King's Gold.
