Default Parker Duofold Question

I have been shopping for a Parker Duofold Centennial fountain pen. I notice
that some Centennials have a Duofold emplem on the cap, and some do not.
Why is this? Is there a quality difference? Are both genuine if everything
else is in order? Any help that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Cliff

"Duofold Centennials"

Newer (1997/98) (streamlined) Duofolds all have an emblem but older
(non-streamlined) Duofolds didn't come with an emblem except for the
DeLux models (Black & Pearl, Orange,White Metal = Sterling Silver...).
There is no difference in those models except for the color of the
material and the emblem.

On older (non-streamlined) models the plain black insert can be
engraved with your initials.

Cheers

Michael

Parker at one time offered a free cap button replacement offer. I sent
my Duofold in and had the logo button replaced with one bearing my
initials. I don't know if this is still offered.
