I've checked Transylvania, Temesvar, Segedin, Debreczin.
I'm stumped.

Google found them.

Western Hungary
6st.Issue: 2nd October 1921. 7 stamps
(catalogued in Michel Catalogue with No. 62/68).
Overprint in black Nyugat Magyarorzag Orszve Westungarn Orgland"
on the Hungarian stamps, harvesters, parliament.

Do they have a Stanley Gibbons number at all ?

Thanks

G'day KP,
"rare and collectable" lies in the eye of the beholder
every stamp I do not have lies in this category.

Chris's link to Western Hungary is a good background.

Evert Klasboer has them under "Western Hungary~Revolt"
and inscription "lajtabansag"
My example under a sub heading "Orgland"

http://klaseboe.club.fr/hungalaj.htm

A lot of quasi style states issued stamps to establish some
sort of legitimacy I feel, I like collecting them, I find them interesting
for example the huge set of the Molucca's etc & etc.

Here is an image of a pot-pourri of Western Hungary posted by a member
of this group some years ago IIRC.

Rodney

Thanks,
those links are useful,
I had the 10f overprint of Temesvar
which took a bit of locating. This site makes it easy on the eye.
SG used to lump all these together, now they spread
them throughout the catalogues.
(Why do SG put the Index at the back of these huge tomes?
one would think it more easy on the spine, at the front)
