Question: Sweden
Anyone have an idea what these six Swedish stamps are. I either not in
Scott catalog or I just cannot find them (AKA looking at it over & over, but not seeing it). Followup question: do they have any worth (beyond minimum catalog value)? http://groups.msn.com/R-C-S-D-images...oto&PhotoID=67 Thanks, Dave |

Hi, Dave
Try the back of the book - these are officials from the late 19th, early 20th century (my Scott's the other end of the house and I'm too lazy to go get it!) -- Cheers - John Mycroft coryton_at_cobbsmill_dot_com "Dave" wrote in message ... Thanks John. I couldn't find them somehow. Return for another
look. I'm sure no world cruise either (maybe mail a letter to some exotic place if I add the postage). Dave "John Mycroft" wrote in message ... The first four (small format) were issued 1910-1914, wmk crown. Scott # O41, O45, O48, O51. The last two (large format) were issued 1881-1895. no wmk, perf 13. Scott # O17, O20. There exists also official stamps in large format, perf 14, but none of yours are listed in this range. Worth is next to nothing, except when still on piece. Source: Facit Millennium Ed.
