Default Small Brag...Thanx RCB

This year has unearthed 3 copies of this book, at £2, £10 and 50p - All sold
for £75 or £80 on Buy it Now on eBay.

I am ALWAYS looking for this book - its as good as finding 8 crisp new £10
notes with a 50p price tag on.

Whilst this is speculation, it appears that someone is hoping to get the
reprint rights from New English Library - I hope not!

Anyway, lets have some more suggestions for very soughy after and therefore
highly priced books which appear relatively easy to find!

I just knew if I hung around this newsgroup long enough I'd eventually
find some obscure book that is discussed in this forum! Today I found
myself at the city's biggest thrift shop, one in which I never find
anything as it's picked over daily by dozens of collectors who actually
grab books in mid-air as they're tossed from collecting bins onto sided
tables by store staff. The place is so disheartening I never go there
anymore, except for today. Knowing it has thousands of paperbacks, that
are unbelievably arranged alphabetically by someone, I though I'd look
for that apparently rare and valuable paperback by, who was
it...Elgard?...Elton...that's always talked about on RCB and maybe the
dealers don't know about. Well the 'E's were on a floor level shelf. I
didn't even want to bend down to look. That's how bad this place is
cleaned out. But I did. And there it was. A great copy of "The Devil's
Gaurd by Robert ELFORD. Yeah! I got one they missed! Thanks (again)
to all the people and book dealers on this newsgroup for the interesting
and informative discussions!

Cheers!
