Seeburg grease--Lubriplate, synthetic brake grease, white lithium??
Hey all-
I'm working on my Seeburg, and lubricating the mechanism as described in the manual. I used Zoom Spout sewing machine oil and that seems good....but for the grease I'm trying to figure out what to use. The manual calls for Lubirplate, but after a bit of research I see some people do not recommend it, because it gums up after awhile. So did a little reading on substitutes for this this grease. I've read several suggestions, and people have mentioned synthetic brake grease, white lithium grease, and molly grease. Can anyone suggest what should be used, and that can be preferably bought locally? (Home Depot or Auto Parts Store?) Thanks! Mark |
