There is an image of Mr. Machin working
on the plaster cast in "Branching out in Stamp Collecting"
by James Watson 1970 courtesy of the Post Office
Copyright prevents me posting.

And in several published works including two of mine where it is in
colour (and with RM's permission)

The cast is one of six made of which Machin kept this one, one was
given to The Queen, one was kept by the then PMG and three by RM.
