Not enough information to know. Normally, it's an ex-employee suing
the ANA and the exec. :-)

Peggy Hoffman ... appointed April 1998, resigned June 1998 ...

I don't recall ever reading the result of the lawsuite ...

not surprising. it if was, indeed, a personnel issue then it was
probably settled out of court and under terms which keep the details.

usually these things are settled out of court because the offender wants to
keep the offense out of the public eye. the "victim" gets the benefit of a
quick settlement and can move on without a protracted legal fight.

She blew the whistle on some questionable things going on at the ANA
and that upset the old boys network who didn't appreciate it.

The ANA cleaned up their act on a certain issue because of that but it
also sealed her fate as executive director.
