Ebay Removing PCGS Coins Based on Netcop Tattling
Whilst it may or may not be related to eBay's recent ban on ICG and
ANACS as approved grading services, PCGS coins have become the target of anonymous netcops on eBay, where BASED ON A PHOTO, eBay has been removing listings for coins reported as being "artificially toned monstrosities" by members of a mysterious eBay unlisted group called "Coin Community Watch" A couple of eBay users -- Lapidary2 and Too_Toot seem behind this, and apparently are "spies" on the PCGS Forum. PCGS are furious and have been sending missives to its dealer network while mentioning absolutely nothing on their own forum board. http://forums.collectors.com/message...hreadid=855059 |
