PLEASE, folks-- enough of this Reagan on money thing, already.

I agree. Let's put him on a stamp and then forget about him.

Reagan doesn't remember us, but I won't forget him.

I agree. The appropriate stamp he belongs on is "postage due."

Who is the congressperson trying to get Reagan on the dime?

I don't think it's a congressperson, I think it's some Republican
Science-Fiction nut job who wants to depose the Democrat on the coin.

It started as, and remains to be, a "rumor".

No, it's not. A real bill was introduced in the House of Representatives and it
made ALL the newspapers.

Nancy Reagan's rejection of the concept was reported AS FACT in pretty much
every major media outlet. This wasn't a rumor.

Who is the congressperson trying to get Reagan on the dime? Maybe I should
write to them on bringing back the $500 bill, and issuing a new $200 bill

with
Reagan on it. What do you guys think? Think it might have a chance of

gaining
interest?

That's sad that a lot of the Congressmen didn't even know who is
currently on the dime. Where have they been all their life?

Not a SciFi nut job and not a rumor. The Congressman is Rep. Mark Souder,
R-Indiana. At last count Souder had 89 co-sponsors for his resolution. The
list includes 13 of California's 20 GOP House members.
