How To Create Checklist

Does anyone know of some good software to create a checklist for
cards? I plan to publish a book of a specific player (ex: Babe Ruth).
Specifically, I'm going to post thumbnails for every card ever
printed, in addition to miscellaneous items that were produced which
contained his image.

So basically, I need some software that'll allow me to post several
small images on a page, with a brief description beneath it?
